Once a Knight, Always a Knight! 

Over the years, many references have been made to the Ballou Alumni Association; however, such an organization did not officially exist until September 2014. In the summer of 2013, a group of interested alumni gathered and began working on a written Constitution. (The founding members are Theresa Thompson, Dena Lawson Briscoe, Lavonia Shirley, Wanda Lockridge, Faithia Robertson, Robert Gregg, and Dr. Steven Lee.) Not only was the Constitution written and ratified, but a group of alumni also volunteered to serve as officers, leading the alumni association into the 21st century. This dedicated group has been involved in organizing alumni activities, such as the “Annual Alum Cookout” and homecoming tailgate parties. Soon, we will award alumni scholarships to Ballou seniors each year and conduct fundraising efforts. Please join the Alumni Association! We are now a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, so your membership fee is tax-deductible.

Alumni, current, or retired teachers of Ballou High School are invited to join and attend meetings of the organized Ballou High School Alumni Association Inc. Interested in helping? Volunteers are encouraged to join standing committees. Attend the meetings to see how you can contribute to the growth of your official alumni association.
