The Frank W. Ballou Senior High School Alumni Association Inc. (BAA) was established to bring together alumni from all backgrounds who have received their formal education at Ballou Senior High School. Education has transformed lives and enabled them to contribute positively to society. Since graduating from BALLOU SHS, those alumni have stayed true to this vision, supported by the generosity of countless community members and businesses who share this outlook.

 

The BAA is made up of numerous alumni and actively participates in our school community. We wouldn't be Ballou Knights without YOU! The Alumni Council and Class Representatives are dedicated alumni who volunteer their time and talents for Ballou. All alumni are welcome to join. The Ballou Alumni Association aims to promote and nurture the spirit of fellowship and community among all alumni at BALLOU, while also supporting our alma mater whenever needed to help ensure that Ballou continues to thrive. We value our connection with everyone who has graduated from our school since the first class that graduated from BALLOU. On behalf of all of us, thank you for your dedication to Ballou, and welcome. WE ARE KNIGHTS for LIFE!

 

When the Ballou Alumni Association was restructured in 2018, it was decided to establish an endowed scholarship fund as one of its functions. This endowed fund is the result of donations from our alumni, friends, and fundraising efforts. In 2019, the first scholarship was awarded in the amount of $1000 to deserving students pursuing a college degree. These are BSHS graduating seniors who, without the help the scholarships provide, may not have been able to realize their dreams of a college education.
